What a way to start the year! After pulling long hours to finish the newly refinished FSCCA prototype, Amanda hauled off to Sebring for testing and the cars first ever National race. “I was determined to bring this car to not only it’s first race, but the first National event the FSCCA car had it’s own class.” Amanda said. “Testing on Thursday and Friday was the key. It put a lot of confidence in me about the track, and getting familiar with the nature of the car. By time qualifying came around....I was ready to go.” ......And she was!
Qualifying only dropped her times consistently with each lap, finding a spot just a few seconds off the leader. The race was a stomping ground, and Amanda pulled through gracefully with a solid 3rd. “I couldn’t have asked for more for the first attack. This is going to be a great year!”
Amanda wanted to thank SCCA Enterprises for their involvement with the car and expressed her thanks to Motion Dynamics for their assistance in putting together such a great car!
